So I'm holding out hope
Never had those, I quit trading and live 4 hours away so I don't get cycle bottles these days. I'm a lot happier though, it's nice not giving a **** about bottle releases like I used to.Cycle's Pallet #?#?#? four or five I think was Tequila BA and it was great as was Firestone PNC (?). However, i do strongly agree most Tequila BA beers I have had have been bad to awful, Green Bench Tequila BA Mailorder Bride, El Murcielago,.....
Supposedly Funky Buddha's new batch of Mexican Coffee aged in Jose Cuervo barrels is good as well, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
I'm curious how this El Cat bottle will be, I enjoyed Hapax, so maybe...
hoping for Life is Like for the final bottle. that or the already bottled AB Huna that's just sitting in the CCB warehouse.
PNC might be the greatest tequila beer ever made. That beer is stupid good.
I've heard bottles have fallen off considerably. I haven't had a bottle lately, but I've had keg pours every 6 months or so since release and they have all been great.I had PNC about a year ago and was disappointed. First time so never had it fresh for comparison. I really wanted it to wow me based on what I heard from Dizzydsmith
That certainly could be true. Last time I had it was a year ago IIRC and it was still drinking very well.I've heard bottles have fallen off considerably. I haven't had a bottle lately, but I've had keg pours every 6 months or so since release and they have all been great.

i had a bottle of PNC a month ago for the 3rd time. the tequila has mellowed out a bit
it is still the best FSW beer I have ever had.
Has anybody picked up their bag yet that can share a couple pics?
I examined this pretty well for a friend who asked me at CCB over TBBW. That is definitely a pocket for an opener. I actually have one of those Wine Picnic backpacks that comes with plates, flatware and a corkscrew, and I figured out that the holder slots are for a corkscrew and a keychain opener. The corkscrew goes in the pocket, and then you can loop in a key chain opener to the other loop. Kind of a neat bag. Enjoy! Here ya go, pardon my thumb and hand. Unless you're a talent scout, in which case, you're welcome.

You misspelled mead. ;-)Ah, that makes sense. Given the mesh pocket, I would assume this is a combo wine and beer carry case that's just branded to CCB.
The pocket is big enough for a yopener, which is really the only bottle opener I use anymore, so I'm good with it.
Me when I read apple brandy and then marionberries/black raspberries...Final bottle released for this round......
Argumentum ad Populum
Apple Brandy Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Marionberries and Black Raspberry
"If many believe it, it must be so." That's the succinct way to describe argumentum ad populum, an argumentative fallacy found often in both classical logic discussions and internet beer forums. Being amateur classicists ourselves, we at Cigar City Brewing avoid fueling fallacious arguments about anything, be it epistemology, idealism or barrel-aged beer. We present this apple brandy barrel-aged stout brewed with marionberries and black raspberries as a liquid monument to the dangers of fallacious arguments, both online and off.
Tasting Notes:
Fudge, fresh ground espresso, and calvados aromas are complimented by a hint of bing cherry on the nose. Dark semi-sweet chocolate presents strongly on the tongue before blackberry jam, dried cherries and raisins take the wheel of this berry-infused stout. Long lingering on the palate with flavors reminiscent of the finest chocolate-covered cherry persisting in the most pleasant way.
110k Batch 6 is one of the best beers i've ever had. Fruited stouts FTW.
These were my first thoughts. After having had Backyard a month ago I'm very excited to try this
I haven't heard about lindley park in like 4 years. Do they still make it?My how quickly we forget Big Luscious. Let's hope this is more Lindley Park and less Big Luscious.
Yeah, a lot more of it now too. Still great. OH pumps out casks like crazy of that beer for NC markets, and it's one of the few beers I think works on cask really wellI haven't heard about lindley park in like 4 years. Do they still make it?
Do it Doc. I'll gym for both of us todayIf I didn't REALLY need to get back in the gym tomorrow i'd drink one tonight for science, but alas, I am getting fat.
Do it Doc. I'll gym for both of us today
First time really trying to bench since I blew my shoulder out and worked up 155. I'm not going to say I was impressed but it's a start. The road to 300 is going to be long and painful again.Ok Dustin. You better gym it hard.

Sounds about right. I should have had you pick up my bottles. I think chad might have his hands full these daysIt's a good beer. Heavy fruit. Not getting much barrel, but it may be because the fruit is really powerful. Should improve with time.
