First attempt at cider. Daughter got me one gallon cider kit for Christmas. I can't seem to find temp recommendations for fermenting cider . Yeast packet (SafCider) calls for 10-30C (50-86F). My basement stays at 65-67F during winter. Is that acceptable? Will the temp rise during fermentation like beer? Should I rack to a secondary or leave it in the primary like beer? TIA
