I searched a little bit for this, but I couldn't really find it. My wife like to drink a lot of cider, so I think I'm going to try to make some for her. Possibly some apfelwein as well. I am building my keezer right now, and she keeps asking if she can have a keg of cider on tap sometimes.

I've read where serving root beer or sodas will leave residue in your lines and keg that you can taste forever. Is this true with cider as well?

Thanks!

Root beer is the worst.

Lots of people have cider on tap including me! I like to keep cider on tap and force carb it over carbing it with sugar because it always seems to get out of hand.

I haven't noticed anything unusal with cleaning my lines. BUT, I have 4 taps and cider seems to be always the last one on the right... lol. I use hot water and oxy on my kegs and BLC on my lines and taps.
