Chore boy in kettle discolored wort?

Saw some strange black particles floating during boil, and my centennial blonde looked funky in hydrometer sample. I soaked it for a couple hours in oxy clean. Any body hear of this?

No, used as trub filter. It was scotch brite brand.

Update... kept hydrometer sample in fridge and it cleared up. Just hops in a very light wort I guess. I should have just hahb.
