Saw some strange black particles floating during boil, and my centennial blonde looked funky in hydrometer sample. I soaked it for a couple hours in oxy clean. Any body hear of this?:no:
 
probably just a few randomly ground weevil bits from one of your ingredients. nothing to worry about - the added protein coagulates with other proteins during the cold break
Wow, wevils.that's better than metal gunk I hope.

Update... kept hydrometer sample in fridge and it cleared up. Just hops in a very light wort I guess. I should have just hahb.
