I've brewed plenty of stouts porters and brown ales with cocoa powder with great results, but my wife has tasked me with making something light ale/lager'ish with chocolate flavor to it. Obviously the easy answer is add cocoa powder, but i'm wondering what kind of effect it will have on the final product's SRM. I'm assuming minimal, but has anyone brewed something similar?
Considered Chocolate Extract, but in my experience, the flavor is often VERY subtle unless you use a ton of it, being not worth it from a cost standpoint
