Hello,

I finished my first brew, now it's in the carbonation fase in the bottles.
When i sanitized my equipement, i used Chemipro OXY and I have left the bucket upside down to get the solution out, but i didnt let it dry, some water drops staid when i dumped the malt extract. Only found out that i need to let it dry today, because i was concerned about the Chemipro health risks, and at my brewshop they say it was no problem to have some small sediment of sanitizer.
My question is, since i have bottled already, will it be bad for you to drink the beer, knowing that the sanitizer is still there?
Should i throw it all out?

Thanks in advance :)

I use chemipro oxy for everything, and when I started a little bit ended up in most beers. They had poor head retention (maybe unrelated) and Ive since had better results letting it dry completely. But you'll be fine don't dump it by any means!

Hi guys,
Thanks for the help

I think letting it dry would be the same as just let it drain, because you will re-hidrate the leftovers of sanitizer when you add the beer (wich contains water)...
And there are somethings that doesnt make me trust this no-rinse product.

First: i cant find who is the manufacturer. Anyone knows?

Second: the warning signs in the label. By looking at it, its clear that you should not consume it.

This time i will throw it out, because i am not safe drinking something with cleaning products leftovers. It could be safe, like some of you say... but i have no problem in making another batch properly done.
