Hey All,

Just signed up.

I'm a rookie home brewer and just looking to improve on my craft and start to take it to the next level. I'm having an absolute blast with it! I have a mere 5 batches of beer under my belt (2 were extract, 3 have been Mini-Mash). All the batches so far have come out drinkable and pretty tasty.

Looking forward to hanging out here.

Awesome. Spent 4 glorious years in Charlottesville at UVA - love that town. Was actually just in cville for the UVA/Miami game (too bad for UVA).

Kidding of course! As much as UVA tried to indoctrinate me otherwise - I just know too many great people from Tech to get too wound up outside of sports.

I went to a small private school down here in SWVA, so you can flame the hokies or the cavs, I don't care!

I like to...shall we say.. stir the pot.

I do however like to ride through Tech campus. especially early/late in the school year. It just so happens there is a shortcut through the campus when I go from one office to the other, plus the National Weather Service has an office on campus & I'm there several times a month.

For the shootings, I had a baby cousin there, one guy at works daughter was in Norris hall, and we had no less than 5 other folks in the office who had kids at tech. Long day.


cheers. Have you checked out Weekend Brewer in Chester? I have *yet* to buy anything from them, have had to cancel orders twice b/c of family stuff & they have bent over backwards to be accomidating. I hope to get to them to give them some $$.

Made the trip there many times. Its where I bought my starter kit!

They are the nicest people you would ever hope to meet and you should keep trying to give them your money
