Hi everyone !
I'm Kevin, on my early 20's, originally from France but enjoying expatriation since a few years already. Saint Louis, Missouri for a year or so, then Shanghai, China for a couple of years and currently Suwon, South Korea (my wife's country) since a bit more than a year.
My dad is Belgian, so I've always had a passion for beer, I guess that those things are running through the blood !
Well, my multiple experiences in those countries and places made me miss those awesome beers that I could easily get back home in Europe. (btw, korean beer sucks) So I've decided about a year ago (wow, time flies) to begin to brew my own.
After tons of readings and experiments, I've been brewing about ten 5gal batches, and it's getting better at each batch.
I still have got a
long road ahead before being able to pretend brewing good beer.
As of being a homebrewer in Korea, I'm facing the challenges of the suppliers and products availability. (only 1 supplier for malts, and less than 10 references). Things have been pretty much DIY since the beginning of the homebrewing adventure, and thanks God that we built a homebrewers community in Korea with a dozen of other dudes.
I've been reading that board for several months now, and it's a real help in every day's homebrewing life. Thanks for all the things you've inspired to me and all the things that you will continue to inspire to me in the future.
Cheers !
