I've seen the plastic carboy drier stands at my local brew supply shop but just could justify the $20 they wanted for it even though I've been looking for a way to stand mine up to dry.
I was taking out the trash last night and throwing away an old flush mount ceiling fan when the light bulb lit up in my head.
The housing for the fan looked just like a carboy drier! I immediately flipped it over and set the carboy on it and it was a perfect fit, even vented!
You can pick these up at garage sales and Craig's list for a few bucks, add a piece of rubber hose (had laying around) around the inner ring and you've got a cheap carboy drier.
