This is the second time I've made this mistake. I bought some close out caps that have some markings on them. Last year I had made a Wit that I used marked caps on. I brought one to my LHBS for feedback. He really liked it and suggested I enter it in a local competition that they were a drop off location for. It was the last day of drop off, and I had these marked caps, so I didn't enter it.
Fast forward to this February. I brewed a stout that I believe is really good. I kegged most of it, but did bottle a 6 pack and a couple bombers. Of course I used caps that have markings on them again. I will only use these if I am bottling from the keg to take somewhere moving forward.
Do you think I could remove the cap and re-cap real quick without loosing too much carbonation so I can enter these in a competition? I carbed them using 1 domino sugar cube.
