Had a 10/29/14 Mont Cherry last night, taste was very nice but certainly had a Plastic/latex type smell going on...
I wasn't a fan of the Peach Fruit Stand (batch 1) that was available at the anniversary release. There were some off flavors. Nothing like the most recent fruit stands which have been phenomenal.

Yeah, the second bottling of Peach Fruit Stand (Feb of 2015?) was much better. I had a "stone fruit sour" tasting back in March, and That Peach Fruit Stand was the overall favorite compared to Wild Peach, West Ashley, Veritas 013, Upland Peach, etc.

Totally agree. The second batch was outstanding. Probably my favorite peach beer of all time.

Yeah the combo of those bottles and the weekend will make this one pretty nuts I think. Haven't decided if I want to try and get there early, grab bottles and peace out to Rifle for a half day of climbing, or get a full day of climbing in and come at 3:45 to pickup.

One of them was on premises only though, right? Or am I thinking of different fruit stand?

Those were all released to go, only On Premise only fruit stands were, I think, Apricot and Raspberry.

Apricot. That's the one I was thinking of.

I've been eating so many damn Palisade peaches recently that everything morphs in peaches like some sort of demented magic eye painting.

Thanks for the heads up, didn't know how many batches there were total. I was referring to the third (most recent). It was soooo goood.

Man I wonder if I had an off bottle or something. Really didn't think that 2/13/15 was that good.

None of the Peaches have been my outright favorites (just not my favorite fruit in general compared to others), but, of the three, I enjoyed it the most by far. B1 had some off flavors, B2 was cleaned up a bit, but not totally, and B3 was perfect, peachy, juicy, nice saison base below it.

Favorites for the Fruit Stands though are Black Amber Plum, Black Amber/Italian Plum, Grape, B1 Montmorency (9/2/14) , Sour Balaton, B1 Blackberry (9/3/14), those stood out a lot. Seriously amazing beers.

Greetings from San Diego.

I have a Casey question: how available are their beers? Not looking to land Cuts or anything, just wondering about Saison, East Bank, maybe Oak Theory? What do they retail for?

They've been popping up a lot down here recently, and I want to trade for a handful of them - I just have no idea what their availability / value is.

Thanks in advance.

pretty much have to go to the monthly releases and wait in line, or you have to go up to one of the couple bottle shops in the mountains...a good drive from denver. they dont last on shelves long. about $20 a bottle for the non-fruited stuff, but well worth it. amazing beers

This isn't exactly correct....
Casey does distribute to the front range, and some stores self distribute him. His beer was on the shelf for over 5 weeks here in Fort Collins all under 17.99 a bottle at Wilburs. Oak theory retailed for $24 at the store I go to when they had it. Most bottle shops from West Vail to the Roaring Fork Valley are well stocked on him, my parents live a stone's throw from the West Vail shop he sells at and routinely pick up bottles. Fruit Stands do not see distribution as far as I know.. Troy is even planning a special beer to be distributed along the front range to his loyal retail accounts.

I'm kind of wishing the trip I had just taken to Denver was during this release coming up instead. Super jelly.
