With that attitude you should turn around. Now.

We pulled in with the RV at 11 last night but opted to park on flatter ground over at Wal Mart thinking it wouldn't be an issue to get over here before 8. Apparently that was a bad move... But who knew? First time the crowd has been this large this early. LIve and learn. Still happy to be here and enjoy some great beer...

Haha I know.
July was a busy time, as was the anniversary. I expected this, perhaps not quite this much ;)
I'm just gonna drink. Say hi :)

We showed up at 710 and presumably got some the last tickets for the first allocation. Troy had about 8 or 9 left in his hand. Everyone was just standing around because they had gotten their tix but from afar it looked like a line.

anyone drink family preserves yet?
I had a small pour of the Sweet Cherry. Unreal fruit character in there. Not funky like Cuts, but like the name implies. Preserves. Had so much fruit, excited to see how it changes over the next few months as the saison base develops.

I've had full pours of all the fruit stands once more since the release. Wow, these are possibly my favorite ones yet. The apricot pretty much blew my mind, and both Cherry blends are so unbelievably on point, really cool to contrast the different cherry types, I think I like these both more than Mont. cherries, but, I don't know.

Yes. Took a sour balaton to the dome. Amazing. Actually mixed some 50/50 with a glass of apricot fruit stand (science) and that was ******* incredible.

that sounds amazing. I opened a sweet cherry FS on Sunday and was surprised to have likes it more than sour balaton. It was delicious. Can't wait to get into a CFP.

I too opened a bottle of Sweet Cherry FS on Sunday evening and while I still liked the sour version better I was surprised at how delicate and downright tasty it was. No medicinal qualities or weird plastic that I get in a lot of cherry beers that generally turns me off of them.

I would be keen to see Troy start doing more fruit blends. And for science to also be able to compare something like aprium fruit stand and blended apricot + plum fruitstand.

Agreed. Regret not picking up more Casey cherry offerings. I typically stay away because of that off cough medicine flavor. Troy doesn't have that problem

Yeah, no medicinal flavors here.

I've gotten the plastic thing slightly a couple of times with Casey's cherry but it wasn't enough to say i was disappointed.

Anyone opened a Batch 1 Fruitstand from last September yet? I wonder how they are tasting....

Technically there were other bottles of fruitstand before that but, regardless.

I can't find my notes atm...
Balaton was drinking phenomenal. Sweet cherry was nice as well, but those Balaton cherries had just an amazing flavor that carried over really well in that beer.

The recent sweet/balaton release have much more fruit character than the older ones (I realize these are fresh and not a year old, but comparing fresh, these new ones are out of the ballpark great).

What was the most recent cherry fruit stand?
