I have 4 glass carboys, and no good place to store them. So recently, I got the idea to put some hooks in my storage room walls (hooks are into the stud) and then store the carboys using the carboy handle on the hook. See picture below.

There is no risk of them falling, but I am wondering... Is this not a good way to store the carboys? Will this place undue stress on the glass where the handle of the carboy is? Should I put some support underneath them or do you all think they are fine?

i have little kids so i wouldn't do this but glass does not stress and break over time, it just breaks.

I say your fine as long nobody knocks them off the hook

Yeah, I thought about that, and these hooks curve back towards the wall. It makes it a little difficult to get them off, but they aren't accidently falling off!
