I am a newer brewer and a friend told me to try the tablets for carbonation. Its been 2 weeks and i put 3 in each bottle. Just tried one and its still really flat. Should i wait another week or can I add more to them? If so how many more should i add a bottle? The flavor is there just mot carbonated. Its an american pale ale

The first time I used them, I also used three. It seemed flat at first but got a lot better after about a month.

Now, I use four for most beers.

What temp are the bottles being stored? Too cold it will take longer.

68 is fine, but a little warmer wouldn't hurt (~74-76). Time to max carb is not necessarily the most consistent thing in the world and can be affected by not only by temp but yeast type, yeast condition, alcohol content etc. Keep the faith, and give it some more time.
