are the 2 liter bottles some breweries use to sell beer like climax brewing sold there beer in growlers only, can I buy similar bottles to carbonate in?

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but you can certainly carbonate your beer in 2 liter soda bottles using a carbonator cap. I do this before sending a beer to competition in case I need to make any minor adjustments.

I don't know what you're referring to, but I want to jump in anyway for safety's sake. If they are regular growlers then they are probably NOT made for carbonating and can lead to explosively dangerous bottles. If they are like 2 litre pop bottles, then you're ok. I use empty Pepsi bottles to bottle in 'bulk' sometimes.

companies like climax brewing in roselle park n.j. did not have a bottling line and you could only buy their beer in 2 liter growlers,do they carbonate in these bottles ?they are glass.

I'm sure you can find them somewhere else but back when Mr. Beer shipped orders over $100 for free I ordered a bunch of these Check your local brew store for similar bottles. Make sure they have a swing top, pretty much all the breweries up here sell in 1/2 gallon growlers with twist off lids, that's no good for carbbing, but if you keg you can use them to take your beer with you without having to lug the whole keg.
