I have always been bottling my beers in 12oz or 20oz. Recently I started talking to brewer regarding carbonating and serving beer from an oak/wooden barrel.
Is this possible? I always figured that yeast would be on the bottom of the barrel after carbonation, and it would be difficult to not get into your drink while dispensing. I'm sure it has been done though. I would imagine it would be less carbonated because the oak doesn't hold it in as well as stainless steel.
It has been 4-5 years since the last time I brewed some beer - My memory is really hazy, so thanks for your help!
