Talking out loud to SWMBO today about what I could add to my cider to add flavor.
I have 2.5 gallons all in separate gallon & 1/2 gallon jug.
Which means I have a chance to bottle one as is and experiment with the other.

I mentioned caramel & she came home with a box of caramel extract.

Has anyone ever added extract at time of bottling?
Any favorable results?

If I am not mistaken you should use pure (non imitation) and do this step when going to the secondary?
