Hi everyone,
I am helping a friend brew a one gallon BOMM capscumel and it finished fermenting a few days ago and I was going to transfer it to secondary and add some peppers. I was going to use one jalapeno and one habenaro but when I opened it up to check the gravity I was surprised by how floral it smells and tastes. We used orange blossom honey like I usually do for one gallon batches but this mead is insanely floral smelling. I only had it open for a minute tops and my roommate could smell it in another room.

I don't want to destroy the "floralness" of the mead by adding the wrong chilies so I thought I would see if anyone has an opinion of what I should add.
