It's not an 'each day' limit on magnums as such - they have a crate with pre-boxed magnums in, and they'll sell them until they're gone... then at some point they'll package some more magnums, leave them to condition for several months, and then there will be magnums for sale again. Pot luck really.

The only reason why other beers 'run out' during the day is that only beer earmarked for leaving the brewery gets labelled - everything else stays unlabelled until it's ready to sell, or stays unlabelled and goes behind the on-site bar. For example, if you buy a Fou or a Mamouche to drink in the brewery, it'll have 'FF' or 'M' written on it in gold paint marker, as there's no point wasting a label on it. (Only exceptions here are the 'specials' like 50N, Pineau or the Zwanzes - I've drunk them in house before and seen them labelled and unlabelled. I guess it's because occasionally a case or two of each will go out to friends of the brewery).

there was a pallet container of already labeled 3L gueuze bottles marinating by the bottling line in October when I was there... my heart skipped a beat.

CANTILLON IS NOW SELLING LAMBIC BASKETS

I wonder how strong that handle is, the one I brought back from Belgium that looks like that has a basically useless handle.
Anecdotal I know, but I asked my friend and he replied, "The whole basket is very strong. I wouldn't be concerned at all."

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Good enough for me. I mean it's Cantillon. Have they ever really sold a product that was sub-par?....No I'm really asking.

Some of their recent glassware is really thin. Standard for wine stuff, but pretty fragile.

I bought one of the lambic baskets the other day. Flying back to States tomorrow and I intend to break in the basket ASAP. Will report once I've done so (probably in the lambic discussion thread).

LPG and St Lam still available at 3/pp. Not a daily limit, they said limits are intended to be per person per batch release since they have trouble keeping the limited stuff in stock. Magnums still available at 1pp, 20€. GCB available with no limit, Iris gone.

Hilarious question:
anyone going to be close and want to proxy a mag for me?

would ****, seriously. would also make it worth your while ;)

LPG and St Lam were still available yesterday March 4th (bottle limit 3 pp.) when my mule went.

"My mule". I am everything that is wrong with beer. God, I hate myself.

I hate you too, but only because I don't have anything I think you'd want to trade for.
