Last night I did my first AG BIAB. I was curious about my efficiency, but truth be told do not know how to figure it out. Here is my recipe:
6 lbs 2-row
2 lbs German Vienna
1 lb Honey Malt
1 lb Flaked barley
I used 3 gallons for the mash and 3 gallons for the sparge "teabagging"
I combined and boiled and when I was done, I had to top off with about 1 gallon and got a final batch of 5 gallons of wort. After shaking the hell out of it to incorporate, I took my OG which was 1.050 which I was pretty pumped about.
