Can you serve at too low a psi?

Is there a diffrence between serving at 6 psi and 11 psi? I served at 11 and got some foam not to bad but then dailed it down to 6 or 7 and it seem the beer actually tasted a bit different a little under carbonated?

If you are getting foaming at 11PSI then you may not have enough length in the beverage line.

Dropping it to 6 PSI may fix the foaming but over time the beer in the keg will reach equilibrium at 6 PSI and be under carbonated.

you carb up to 10psi then turn down to 6 psi and purge the keg a bit. it will be perfect.

As noted, dispensing at a pressure and temperature combination insufficient to maintain the desired carbonation level means the beer will flatten as the headspace increases...with the attendant CO2 breakout that can cause dispensing problems...
