I'm super new to brewing and I wanted to try putting some Brew in a growler rather than having 50 some bottles. I've read the glass growlers have a chance to explode if you attempt to carbonate in them. My question is, is there any issue with carbonating in a stainless steel growler?

You aren’t gonna pop the steel, cap design however varies. Most of the ones I’ve seen would hold, not sure about yours.

A US company called Growlerworks makes small portable beer kegs.
These things are expensive and are more or less for storing or transporting finished beer on tap for people who don't want to carry bottles. The caps accommodate CO2 cartridges.
Could you carbonate unfinished beer in them? I would think so.
If the container's lid can withstand pressures near serving level, these min-kegs would be more efficient than multiple bottles - but I really doubt they're worth the expense unless you have some deep pockets.

Saw the Man Can 128. Interesting.
