I want to brew a batch of Jasper Murdock's Whistling Pig Red Ale this weekend. I have brewed before and it is great. The recipe is in this book on page 127:

North American Clone Brews by Russell
Amazon.com: North American Clone Brews: Homebrew Recipes for Your Favorite American and Canadian Beers: Scott R. Russell: Books

But, I have misplaced my copy and can't get the ingredient list for my LHBS. I need the Extract version that includes steeped grains. Can someone look it up and post it here? Thanks guys and gals.

As luck would have it I have it right here. I bought it for the Great Lakes Elliot Ness Amber recipe. The sad part is its not in this book, its in the clone brews book. ***kicks self in ass***

I'm taking it for granted that you actually have the book :) I lose stuff all the time I've actually been looking for the lid to my boil pot since january, how the heck can I lose an 18" lid?

2# pale malt
8 oz crystal 50l malt
4 oz brown malt
8 oz carapils malt

3.5# amber DME

Bring to a boil add
3AAU Fuggles
3AAU Goldings

Boil 60 min add
3AAU Goldings

Wyeast 1084

I hope this isn't breaking any rules if it is sorry and feel free to delete this post.

As a matter of fact, recipes are not copyrightable. So it's all good. :)

Yes, I have the book ..... somewhere? I bought it a few months ago at my LHBS for full retail. I just can't find the d#$% thing.

jspence1, Thank you very much for helping me out. This really is a great beer.

Brewed this one up on Father's Day with my daughter and son-in-law. The OG sample hit the mark exactly and tasted great. The air lock was very active at 10 hours and is still bubbling like mad this morning. I can't wait to taste the finished product.

Thanks for your help. :mug:

I'm going to bump this up to try and beg a copy of the elliot ness clone recipe, Before I break down and buy the correct book this time.

Sadly, I don't have either book, but it turns out that the beer I am trying to clone on this thread is in North American Clone Brews: St Ambroise Oatmeal Stout. If anyone who has the book doesn't mind typing out the ingredient list, I'd be super grateful.
