I have some leftovers but don't have the first clue how to build a recipe. I have 8oz carapils, 8 oz crystal 45, .5 oz fuggles pellets, .5 oz saaz. Looking for partial mash. I'll have to pickup some extract to go along with any suggestions.

I'd go ahead and brew a few more times to build up more inventory.

There is plenty you can brew that would use what you have, what do you want to be drinking in a month or two?

Have a look at the recipe database here, that may give you some ideas.

Also, try playing around with an online brewing calculator, like Tastybrew.com, Brewersfriend.com, or the Brew Builder at Brewmasterswarehouse.com. They're very easy to use, and can really help you understand what each ingredient brings to a recipe.

Throw in a bit of Pale LME and some English yeast and you got yourself an ESB!

Good luck!
i was thinking the same. crystal 45 and fuggles would work. gonna need more fuggles and all the grain. you probably are better off building up your reserves first.

You don't have any base malts, so you can't mash...so you can't do a partial mash. Obviously with what you have you can't make beer. At a minimum (as you already said) you will need extract. When you grab that, get a little two row. Mash your two row with half each of your crystal malts. Add extract to get to whatever gravity you want. Like someone else said, pick a style you like and use brewing software to build the recipe. You'll be much more proud of yourself.

Also, you'll probably (depending on style) need some more hops. Everything you have is certainly useable, just not without more ingredients.
