Kiln dried malt darker than Pale Malt, but not as dark as Munich Malt Imparts a golden to orange color to the beer. I would try it. May get different malt flavor due to the kiln process.

Nothing wrong with that, as long as you like Vienna. ETA: Oh and FWIW, I've used both (Vienna and Briess pale ale malt) as an IPA base and both were fine.
