I brewed a centennial blonde partial mash about 8 weeks ago. I racked to secondary after 2 1/2 weeks, but I haven't had time to bottle, so my beer has been secondary for close to two weeks. Have I ruined my beer? How long can beer stay stay in secondary before it's not even worth bottling?

RDWHAHB. your beer is fine. as long is the head space is full of CO2 you can keep it in there for quite some time.

WHOOPS....that was a typo. It's been in the secondary for about 6 weeks!

You're still fine at 6 weeks, but I wouldn't monkey around too much longer.

Considering it's in a secondary, and not still on the cake, you've got a little more time.

Agreed. I left a secondary for 8 weeks (through my wedding and honeymoon!) and it turned out fine. Little cleaner tasting than usual, actually.
