I don't have a carboy so I racked my beer into my bottling bucket. When it comes to bottling day can I just add my priming sugar right to the bucket that my beer is in now?

Or do you have any suggestions for me???

Why did you rack your beer into your bottling bucket? A secondary vessel is not really needed. I leave my beers in the primary (bucket or carboy) for at least 2 weeks (unless I'm adding something like dry hops or sugars), test for final gravity (twice - 2 or 3 days apart), then rack to a keg or to a bottling bucket for bottling. By racking it into your bottling bucket, you will most likely have to transfer it back to your primary and clean your bottling bucket and transfer it back again, this gives your beer a chance to be oxidized. Just for further information, the least amount of times you touch your beer, the better it will be.

It's my first brew. The directions said rack it. My kit only had 2 buckets. I figured the second bucket was for racking. And upon reading forums on here I realized my mistake.

No worries. Are you bottling? If so then prime each bottle with one of those sugar tabs and you're set (get a brand new pack, sanitize it and some scissors, then open it once ur bottles are sanitized and ur ready to bottle).
The reason you don't really want to mix ur sugar in the current bucket is that there's stuff in the bottom that has settled out which you don't want to mix back in to the beer.

... Assuming your other (primary) bucket is now full?
