I've been having trouble cleaning the corners of a baking pan thingy. Can i just throw it in a sink of oxyclean and let it soak, or would the oxyclean be bad for the metal?

I use oxiclean or the generic brands on everything to include glass, stainless, plastic, etc.
The longer it soaks the cleaner it gets. I say go for it!

My wife called PBW "Magic Powder" after I used it on the crock pot the first time, but I only use it on glass or ceramic baking dishes. I haven't used it on coated metal pans.

Yeah, my wife totally cluster****ed a stainless steel pot a couple of years ago. Just black, burned-on food, basically just carbon that was molecularly embedded into the pot. I think she made some kind of pasta in sauce and forgot it on the stove for a couple hours. Could NOT get it off with just elbow grease and dish soap, even those metal scrub pads weren't doing much.

Soaked in a little Oxiclean, everything came right off. Pot hadn't been that clean since the day we bought it.
