Campden tablets

I added campden tablets to my cider but there not desolving. Any types on how to fix it? Is it okay to test?

It's best to crush them up before adding. They're pretty soft. So you can just squeeze them between your fingers and they should crumble into powder.

How big of a batch are we taking about here? With a small fermenter, you could sanitize a spoon or something and try to crush the tablet against the bottom... With a bigger fermenter maybe try to use a racking cane to break up the tablet?
