came across (and tweaked) a nice AG imperial IPA recipe

as follows -

11.25 lb 2 row base
2 lbs Amber malt
1 lb Honey malt
.25 lbs crystal 120L

strike water around 165 degree, sparge around 185

1 oz Columbus 60 min
1 oz Amarillo 45 min
1 oz Kent Goldings 30 min
1 oz Kent Goldings 20 min
1 oz Amarillo 15 min
1 oz Columbus 5 min
irish moss addition @ 15 min
dry hop columbus 1 oz 7 days

went with a White Labs East Coast Ale...very smooth fermentation, and yielded some great characteristics.

Wonderful dark copper color..the honey malt lends it an amazing aroma.

enjoy friends..comment as needed :)
