Cab Sav Infected

Looking like I took a sample when I was a bit tipsy and must have let some bacteria in. It was looking fine for 8 months and now this.

I didn't taste it yet. Wanted to get some advice before I opened it.

What to do? I haven't done a whole lot of wine.

It's just a bit of film yeast. Top it up, add some so2 and keep it well sealed and it should be fine.

Will do. Thanks for the advice. I feel silly about asking as I always laugh at the number of infected posts around the beer forums.

I'm not sure- but I second adding s02. I'd probably rack it, from under that film, with plenty of so2, top up and keep my fingers crossed.

I couldn't agree more rack from under the film and sulfite the wine, top up well.
