My two 'turkey-fryer' burners are bumming out on me and I need to purchase new equipment soon. I recently moved to keggles and I hope to build a single tier rig throughout the year.

What burner(s) would you suggest for what I need in the long run?

I'm a big fan of the Blichmann burners. I have the leg extensions on mine. Definitely one my best purchases since I started brewing.
Quiet, efficient, top quality construction.

+1. I love my Blichmann burner and am glad I spent a little extra for it.

Add me to the list. It might not be much more efficient than a turkey fryer style burner (I've never timed how long it takes to get to a boil) but it is very enjoyable to be able to hear myself think during a brew day. I also have the extension legs so when I drain into my carboy it kind of oxygenates it. I'm 5'8 and I can still manage to pull my grain bag out of my keggle.
