Here is some preliminary info on the release. I will add as an event once exact bottle counts/time/limits are known.

Wasn't there another beer or two announced when this was first announced? Trying to find the thread or posting from a few weeks back. I could be mistaken tho

I'm almost hoping this is just a 1 bottle per type per person thing so I'm not dropping $300-$400 at one release.

Original announcement (really just label approval I believe) also had "Melange", "Plum", and "Blackberry" (different than "Berry" which was also listed), but not "Kriek".

Not maxing out at a release is a strict violation of the 10 NewMoney Commandments. Right after "Thou Shalt Not Trade Barrel-Aged Adjunct Stouts for Belgian Lambic".
RIght? I'd buy two of something like this...but anything more than that and there's no way I'd be maxing out. Too much loot to dish out at one place at a time unless I'm up in VT or something.

I'm guessing the chance of a #goandpickitupformebro is pretty slim here?

I'll send you some Home Run Inn pizzas boo, your choice of flava.

There's some talk a group of us from the Carolinas might go up. If I end up going and getting any beer (both very up in the air at this point obviously) I'll bring some when I come to Indiana at the end of May.

You wont find that thread (or the follow-up to it) on the other site because myself and a few others made the mistake of posting useful information in it and it not only got deleted but I got warned for it too.

Trust in what the OP is saying, Frank knows what is up. If there are more details to be had he will share them with us.

I believe the post in question was about label approval. The other variants that got label approval were recently bottled. They aren't ready for release yet.

Thanks. That's kind of what I suspected. Was hopeful all bottles at one release bc of travel, wallet was not looking forward to it. So good/not good for me. Oh well, still psyched to go, hopefully

I'm not sure I'll be able to make this release. :( We've got a wee bairn due around 4/18. A cannonball run might be possible, but t'was hoping for a June release.

Also, bottles last year were $25 a pop. A 20% price hike kind of sucks. I know fruit is expensive, but...$30 bottles of fruited AWA's are right on the teetering point for me. I said the same of the Pizza Boy sours a few months back. Just my opinion, of course.

Speaking generally, it would take an idiot to lower prices on a product that people get on line 5 hours before opening in order to buy. I'm actually surprised beer prices on limited release stuff hasn't gone up even more. For every person that won't buy at a $30 price point, there are 5 others more than willing to take their place at a $50 price point. Sad... :(... but true.
