Hello all,

I just finished harvesting from my hives, and I netted about 40 lbs of wildflower. I am planning on making Schramm's "Mambo in my mouth" Melomel, and needed some advice. I plan on fermenting in my 30 liter Speidel HDPE fermenter, and then aging in my HDPE Aquatainer so I can free up the primary for other projects. My question is this: Will a melomel stand up to the slight oxidation (i'm assuming) that will occur in the aquatainer for say, 6months of bulk-aging? I can also age in my corny, but then I won't have a keg for 6+ months.

Thanks in advance.

Personally, I'd rather bottle age than bulk in plastic, but that's just me. I don't like the possibility of leachates. It might be that I'm being overreactive, but that's my opinion
