I have been growing hops for 4 years. Have a Nugget, Cascade, and new Viking. This year the nugget seems to have a really bad aphid problem. Any treatment I can use?

I get aphids on my plum trees. The best I have found is 2 tablespoons dish soap and 1 teaspoon of veggie oil per gallon of water in a sprayer. Spray on and let sit for 4 hours and then spray with a hose to clean it off. I do it early so it doesn't get to hot before I clean it off.

I've used need oil and other sprays to help conquer aphids. Thankfully, they haven't gotten too bad. I rejoice every time I see a lady bug in my hops, though. That means they're on an aphid killing spree. Hopefully your aphid problem isn't too bad.
