So I jsut built my kegerator and used the accuflex liner tubing. I used 25 feet which is too much so I need to cut it down but have yet to do it. I have my line coiled on the top of my keg and noticed that there are bubbles inside the tubing. Why would Co2 be coming out of solution? Is this because my lines are too long?

I have a similar question (and i think some info would help the OP) I have a keg that I may have slightly overcarbed because of temperature. I thought the fridge was 40, in reality it was 36 @ 10psi. This leaves me at 2.5vols of co2. I have a foaming issue where its about a 3 finger head no matter what, and bubbles accumulate in the peak of the 10 ft lines. I was under the impression 10ft is longer than necessary, but not too long as to have negative effects other than a slower pour?

anyways, should I just disconnect gas and vent the keg for a day or two then put the gas back on? Maybe its overcarbed slightly causing the foam? I cant think of any other reason the lines are getting bubbles and causing the foam issue

My beer is definitely not over carbed as I was serving this same keg with picnic taps before I setup my fridge. I am going to cut 6 feet off my lines tonight and see how the pour is

let me know how it turns out. Im pretty frustrated since it seems everyone has good luck with 10ft lines especially at the 10psi that I have it at. Somehow bubbles are creeping into the lines and seem to be causing my foam issues.

Well to resolve this thread. I had quite the "DOH" moment today. I went to cut down my tap lines and realized I had never turned my gas bottle on when I hooked up my system. That explains why bubbles were forming in my lines

Haha yeah that'll do it. I think my issue was overcarbed from shaking. I let them off gas for a day and hooked back up now all seems well
