Named Poterie this year.Si. The Anniversary is in May.
That was the intention. I haven't had it yet, but all that have says the peanut butter is very faint to non-existent.
I disagree, the bottles at Black Tuesday were very peanut buttery
Anyone know why they're killing off Humulus Lager?
One of the only reason a brewery kills a beer is because it isn't selling welAnyone know why they're killing off Humulus Lager?

well if it was selling that would all be worth itOr you know, because it is the only regular lager they produce, thus requiring multiple yeast strains present in the brewery, yeast management concerns, and the increased turnaround time compared to other ales that don't require a longer fermentation and lagering thus increasing opportunity cost.
or come over and split a bottleI still haven't had it yet, but trust your opinion more than random peopleI probably should stop in and pick up my bottles sometime!
Aside from the previously noted reasons, I would imagine that giving up on their whole "we won't brew IPAs" schtick was part of it. Humulus was a way for them to have a clean, hoppy beer on tap to please people who came into the tasting room and expected every brewery to have an IPA. If they can achieve the same thing with a faster fermenting beer, it would seem to be a net win for them.Anyone know why they're killing off Humulus Lager?

Yep, me too. Prices made it an easy pass.
Im kinda Meh on the cybeer Monday allocations.
That beer actually was fairly good in and of itself, it just had the misfortune of being released in a period where they were beating us over the head with Anniversary blends and being marketed with a really dumb backstory. What? No interest in Smooth Criminal?

What are they charging for it now that it's a vintage beer?
Same, passed pretty easily. The M12 I opened couple of weeks ago was infected, making decisions even easier.Im kinda Meh on the cybeer Monday allocations.
I actually didn't hate that beer, and I hate ALL chili beers.LOL people have spoken and Ukulele has sold out.
