If someone wants to cede half a Hoarder's membership to me next year, i'll gladly pony up, and send Tampa goodies!

Literally got an email from them few minutes ago but I'm not seeing these beers online. Thanks for the cock tease!

Interested to see what Earth Day brings us.

I'm thinking like, a double digit abv sour imperial wit bear with brett and cacao nibs. With 8 layers of wax.

So much self loathing this year. Ungh. I really do hope the sours return to what made me like The Bruery so much in the first place. Even then I'm not sure if it'll matter.

Whatever man. I'll happily take the Sour in the Rye with Peaches off your hands if you don't want them

While I dislike a lot of what the bruery does, it's these sales for stuff like wanderer that keep me happy enough to just go along with whatever they're doing.

Apparently every single Bruery Beer tastes a lot better with age. That's how they justify raising the cost of almost all their cellar beer sales by 25%. Only $37.50 for a 2 year aged Melange 3.

Pass, but they can wake me when they release the next batch of sours at $20.

So close, you forgot this is the year of spiced cacao, so 11% Imperial wit w/ Brett, cacao and ghost peppers.

Sour in the Rye Peaches is here!

Sour in the Rye with Peaches
7.6% abv
$22.99 - $19.54
Purchase Limit: 3 Bottles
Reserve Society Exclusive

Sour in the Rye is an American wild ale. A challenging beer to brew due to the substantial amount of rye malt, but you'll be glad we took the time. The character of the rye asserts itself with clove and pepper in the aroma and flavor, and contributes a full body not generally found in sour beers. Pleasantly sour with notes of tart cherry, rustic earth and vanilla notes from a year-plus of barrel aging. The addition of peaches to this beer accentuates the fruity tones and walks your palate through a fresh local orchard.

My first RS purchase of the year.

max'n. one of the main reasons i joined this year. hopefully it's as good as i remember b1 being.

Been getting a LOT of good Saisons, Sours, and IPA's for that betus. Beers I can actually drink > beers I can't stand. I've learned my lesson finally. Riding this bitch out and jumping off at the next station.

That's fine that you're over the stouts, but you should be able to do a lot better than any IPA for Rum/Port/Madeira BT. I mean ****, there's little need to trade for IPAs at all when in San Diego (much less Alpine) so you should be a buyer's market. Sours and saisons make sense but even like a growler of S&S5 (the only IPA I've ever had that beats out the best of Alpine/San Diego) would be traderape.

If he's getting HF/Cellarmaker/De Garde/SARA sours, saisons, and even IPAs for beers he doesn't really value, I don't see the problem?

Well, if I was him, I'd feel like an idiot for paying $700 to get access to exclusive beers that I didn't want and am just turning around and trading them away for IPAs that I could easily get with gopickitupformebros or Shelf4Shelf trades (once again, I'm speaking about IPAs and less so the sours/saisons). I would find that to be a pretty poor return on my investment. Probably why he's not joining again next year, but I can't for the life of me figure out why he did this year. It's not like they don't tell us ahead of time what beers we are getting and/or are included, so the massive disappointment he constantly shows is quite perplexing.

I'm not a trader (or rarely am) so I don't care too much, but it's also that kind of thing that has totally destroyed any value for Bruery beers on the trading market. I mean ****, there's basically no value to them even in a BIF or as an extra anymore either.

But you're not him so what's it matter overall how he throws away his money?
