Brita filtered NYC tap water good enough for home brewing?

I don't know if filtered NYC tap water is good enough for home brewing, and, would distilled water better than the filtered tap water for brewing?

NYC has some of the best water in the world. I have used it straight from the tap.
Sorry, the only thing I add is Campden tabs.

My rule of thumb there is "if it tastes good, it'll be fine"

im sure theres a water profile online for your region.. but ya if it tastes good, brew on. (unless its some burton ale with hard water)
