That is what you get for messing up your spreadsheet and not adding in the 60L. Maybe next year you can just send us the spreadsheet and we will send you everything.

Ed, I couldnt find this on the site and havent seen it anywhere else, forgive my ignorance if it is something that is known: do you offer any type of temperature controlled shipping container for yeasts? (an icepack or insulated box or something?) Im putting together an order that I'd like to send your way and Im leary of temperatures between your location and mine.

There is an option to purchase an ice pack on the site. Your yeast will be packaged with the ice pack to help control the temp.

I also noticed that you are in Montreal, and we only ship to US addresses at this time, and thought I would mention it before you got ready to order.

Thanks,

Ed

Thanks Ed, I missed that link.

I'm in Montreal for University, but my parents still live in VT and one of us visits the other every other month or so. Problem solved!

Ill probably order by the end of the week!

Holy Crap! I placed my order and had my tracking number within 3 hours! Nice work! Now I need to plan my trip to tonawanda to pick it up :)

Ed - I met you at 5-seasons when Zac came through a few weeks ago (I was the lone guy w/ SWMBO) and would like to make an extract APA w/ steeping grains but I don't want to use those kits that use pre-hopped extract.

I tried the site but kind of struggling with what I need as far as a recipe being kind of new to brewing. I thought I read before that there would be ways to use recipe's saved but is that strictly my recipes? I'd like a recipe that would be easy to order for an APA, any suggestions?

Thanks - :mug:

I bet ed can put together an extract version of Edworts Pale Ale or something to that effect.

I bet you could also look in the recipe section, find an APA you like the looks of and email it to him. Any kit he puts together with DME wont be hopped and Ed is always willing to work with you to make sure you are satisfied.

Put in my first order with Brewmasters Warehouse last night for some things I need. Pretty excited to test them out after hearing all the great reviews!

Me too. And my credit card fraud protection even called me later to verify I made the order. Now I'm just waiting for something that says it shipped, vice PENDING.

Your order must have been big.

I ordered from Ed for the first time yesterday. Two hours after placing it, got an email saying it had been shipped. Arrival date estimated to be tomorrow.
Nicely done.

Yeah, my order was a big one. Couple Perlicks, shanks, etc... grain mill, regulator, manifold, and misc stuff.

just submitted my order today. just.cant.stop.playing.with.brewbuilder
what a cool application

Ed,

Just found the following note on your site:

"Oops! If you’re shipping to Georgia, we can’t sell to you!
We’re extremely sorry for the inconvenience, but our expansive selection, user-friendly website and outstanding customer service is not available to customers in Georgia.

If you would like Brewmasters Warehouse to open to the local public, and sell items to customers in Georgia please sign a petition and give your opinion about the situation."

Can you give some explanation regarding this situation? I'm really pissed that yet again I have reason to hate living in this backwards state. Is this a Marietta issue, State issue or a standing agreement with another private party (ie non-compete clause of former employer)? The statement indicates it's only a situation if you ship within the state, can I still order and come by and pick it up?

There is another thread that popped up and has some more information about the situation. At this point in time there are no sales with Georgia at all.

I love the brew builder, still a newbie so I don't know when I'm pulling the trigger on one of my own recipes - but when I do, I'll be using your site.

One recommendation - when adding LME, they come in 3.3 Lb cans, but I can only add X Lb, X oz to the brew builder - which leads to an off price. Is there a way to program it that it realizes that it's a LME, or am I the only extract using retard using it?

I totally understand and the problem is being worked out so that whenever you add LME is automatically shows 3.3 lbs. You can type 3.3lbs into the brew builder and then update, and it will calcualte correctly.

Just ordered three batches of ingredients from y'all. Must say, the brew builder is very, very helpful. I always just keep one window from HBT Recipes open and then go back and forth, entering the ingredients, and viola! Easy!

Also the BJCP style meter is nicely done. Good to know when that last hop addition or the extra QP of roasted malt in my custom brew is pushing me out of style.

Impressive pricing too. Very satisifed when comparing with other shops.

Ed, I'm catching up on the situation about shipping to GA. I knew you weren't going to open the doors but wasn't sure about shipping. You see a problem shipping to SC but taking a credit card from GA?

There is nothing in any of my systems that says where a CC is from. As long as the order is not shipped locally I do not see a problem. No one in SC is going to be driving to Atlanta to buy some home brew supplies.

Placed an order on Friday night and just got it this am. Very pleased with how fast it shipped. Will order from you again soon.

Michael

Placed my first order today. Going to try my first AG with EdWort's Haus Pale and got an extract porter kit, WOOHOO!

Ed - I bumped for the 2-day shipping. Do you think it can get to Ohio by Saturday?

Thanks,

That should not be a problem. Thanks for the order.

Ed

Edit - It is now in the hands of FedEx, but it should really not be an issue.

Ordered Sunday night, got my order yesterday. Everything looks good including the crush. We will see how it goes on Brewday.

Thanks.

I ordered mine a couple of days ago - got it today. Very impressed with the website, shipping speed, packing, etc... If I ever move to a town that requires >1 hour to get to a LHBS - I now know that I have a LHBS on the internets... :D

Oh, and you should get bottlecaps printed up like your avatar - I'd be happy to put those on my bottles!
