Brewing with carbonated water..

What would happen if I brewed with seltzer water, such as Poland Spring Seltzer (non flavored) or carbonated mineral water such as San Pellegrino?

I saw somewhere that mineral water is good for the yeast, I've been throwing in a liter on sparkling mineral water in each batch.
Don't know if it hurts or helps, or does nothing, Still have not fully conditioned my first bottled batch.
