Brewing with Beets

Just curious if anyone has had experience with brewing with beets, rather than malt for the sugars.
Particularly anything like in the following thread ...

I intend to make another batch and, as I don't have much brewing experience at all, would sure appreciate any suggestions on the recipe or on technique.

Belgian candi sugar is beet sugar. Based on that I would say make a Belgian...

On a serious note, I've been contemplating brewing a pumpkin beer with just pumpkin, so try beets!

When refined beet sugar is the same as cane sugar. If extracting the sugar fromt the beets in your mash I would think about the flavor of the beets and how that will go with whatever style you brew.

Most domestic US sugar (aside from Hawaii) is from beets.

I brew with beets a lot... usually some mellow beets like reggae beets but sometimes I'll kick it up to some heavy metal beets!

And chuck couple ears of corn in it. Remember that it's sugar beets not ur regular beets for borsh.

Also if u use pumpkin use canned or small ones. Or just some butternut squash
