No, it's a matter of personal opinion, and all the major 3 (beertools, beersmith, and promash) are used by a lot of people, as well as the lesser-used open-source stuff like Qbrew.

Perhaps you should have browsed the brewing software section of the forum... There are multiple polls and plenty of discussions.
