Brewing in Tampa

Hey everyone! I'm Sonja and I'm from Tampa, FL. My boyfriend introduced me to the world of homebrewing last year. I bought him the True Brew kit for his birthday last year and found I was more interested in than I thought I would be. We've been reading Palmer's How to Brew and learned lots from it but every time I had a "search engine" questions HBT always came up - so I figured I may as well join.
We brew for the first time last night! So now we have an oatmeal stout fermenting. I can't wait to try it!!

Thanks guys! We go to the Brass Tap in Brandon all the time. They have the best selection of beer ever! And we're gone to Mr. Dunderbak's a couple times. We've been thinking about joining his B.E.E.R.S club.

Pick - We have an awesome homebrew shop called Southern Brewing - its actually where I bought my boyfriend's brew kit from. Every time we go there we talk to the same guy and he's super knowledgeable.
