I'm trying to learn to make my own beer and it's so frustrating with some idiot vendors. I bought a Braumeister, tons of stuff, keep making lots of mistakes but trying to have fun.
I read and read and read alot from this forum trying to learn as much as possible. I still have to order all my parts and grains from the states which can sometimes be god damn frustrating. I first have got to give credit to Morebeer and Northern Brewers...(I think thats thier name) who ship to APO addresses, but yesterday I tried to place an order with Homebrewstuff with thier $7.95 shipping which sounded like a great deal. Next thing I know they want to charge me an additional $30 for shipping. To make this a short story, they (Homebrewstuff) told me APO is not a U.S. address which is simply not true. With thier bold customer service statement and thier horrible response back to me telling me I am wrong after serving my country for 22 years in foreign countrys, I am dumbfounded. I never want anything free or want to take advantage of anyone, but to tell me an APO address is a foreign address and I am wrong is not customer service, it is severe ignorance. Yes they credited my order but told me I am wrong, that is stupidity and not customer service. It's easy to write how great you are regarding customer service, it's just as easy to be ignorant.
