Brewing in NYC!

Hi All,

My girlfriend got me a brewing kit for christmas and i am now diving in head first. I have some space in midtown manhattan, brewing in my apartment for now but planning on eventually building out the basement space in my building. I have a bucket of alpine amber ale going now and four more kits (from NB - Caribou slobber, irish stout, pale ale, and one other) and winpaks in the mail to start up a pipeline of sorts. This is a great forum-tons of information!

Welcome! Last winter, I stayed in the Hampton Inn in Midtown and was amazed at how much they did with such a little space. I affectionately nicknamed our room "The Pod." My friends in Manhattan tell me that they consider the city their living room - I'm sure you'll find ways to maximize your space for brewing!
