Brewing a witbier with coriander and orange peel question...

I have a grainfather. Was going to add these additions to a hop spider I have. Is this ok? Or should I just throw it straight in? Not sure if I’m depriving the mash of the flavor by doing so in a hop spider or not.

Where do you put your hops, in the same spider? Then add your spices there too.
Make sure to refresh the wort inside the spider by lifting, massaging, and moving it around regularly during the boil.

You mean wort, right, not mash?

I just did a batch this way and turned out quite good
