Right now here is the recipe I'm thinking about using:

6.5 lbs 2 row
3.5 lbs white wheat

0.8 oz Centennial @ 60 min
0.6 oz Goldings @ 5 min
0.4 oz Centennial @ 5 min

American Ale Yeast Blend from White Labs

I've brewed this before and thought it tasted good but I'd like to hear any suggestions that someone might have to offer...either that or a totally different recipe that is delicious.

that recipe sounds good, but you may be veering away from a true wheat beer. if you flip your percentages, i.e. 6.5 wheat, 3.5 2 row, now youre talking real wheat beer. usually wheat beer is 60% wheat, 40% barley malt, however you can do whatever porportion you prefer. i just so happen to be doing an american wheat tomorrow as well. mine is 10 gallons, 12 lbs wheat malt, 8 lbs 2-row, 1oz brewers gold @ 60min. simple, easy, summer brew.

Are you going for an "Americanized Wheat" or a traditional Hefe? If you are going traditional I would suggest using an actual wheat yeast (WLP300 etc)... otherwise everything looks good

But, you could probably bump the grainbill up to 50/50 and still be good too :)
