I still consider myself a novice. Ive been brewing for about two years. I entered a Jalapeno Cream Ale in a brewest last feburary, and while it was a good entry, it didnt get many votes.
Last night, there was another competition, done by the same people, and I had three new beers to try out.
Nacho Mommas Hard Gingerale, Lurker Pollen an American Ale (made with a full pound of citra hops for 5 gallons) Think Zombie Dust, and Fastazz Ale, a Brown Ale with a 6 day fermenration.
My Hard Gingerale won the Blind Taste Award, and I placed Third overall, out of 12 brewers and 20+ beers.
