What made me consider it today is that I have to pay $41 for the generic plate annually. Unless I'm misreading, it's only $20 more for a vanity plate. Figure as long as the State is egregiously requiring so much for the basic on top of the astonishing other $400 in itemized fees/taxes, I might as well pay the nominal amount more.

Georgia is initial fee of $90 ($35 one-time manufacturing fee) and $55/year renewal fee. Regular "ad-velorem" taxes apply as always. I might actually get a "vanity" plate.

Victor (my VP) has 243-BEER as his tags. I dig it. My truck has 243-BEER all over it and its funny I use to get pulled over all the time. I just started selling them all on "Home Brewing" and oddly enough I don't get pulled over anymore, but about 15 local law enforcement now brew beer ...LOL
